Budapest Fashion & Tech Summit 2021
JOYS magazine's Editor-In-Chief, Gili Biegun, will be a speaker at The Budapest Fashion & Tech Summit 2021. Following the keynote speaker, Suzy Menkes, Gili will tell the story behind JOYSmagazine online and on print.
The Hungarian Fashion & Design Agency is organising the Budapest Fashion & Tech Summit – a fashion industry conference providing a platform for international experts – between 1-2 December, for the third time. In 2021, the event, which will be held digitally, will approach and showcase the future of the fashion industry from the perspectives of sustainability, storytelling, knowledge sharing, cultural heritage, e-commerce and changing consumer habits.
The concept of the Budapest Fashion & Tech Summit 2021, implemented by the Hungarian Fashion & Design Agency, is to create a professional platform that reflects the global challenges of COVID-19 and the most important issues of the upcoming years, such as sustainability or innovation.
The BFTS, which is part of the Agency's thematic Fashion & Design Autumn event series, will approach and present the future of the fashion industry from
the perspectives of knowledge sharing, cultural heritage, environmental protection, e-commerce and changing consumer habits, and by doing so, creating a common dialogue. The international digital conference will provide a platform for fashion industry players from home and V4 countries alike, to start a process of joint reflection. The event will pay special attention to making sure surrounding countries are also integrated into the programme.
