Calcaterra Spring 2025

23/09/24  Milan

Article by Gili Biegun

At Milan Fashion Week, Daniele Calcaterra unveiled his Spring/Summer 2025 collection, "Connessioni," inspired by the four elements—Fire, Earth, Water, and Air. The collection highlighted the fluid relationship between humanity and nature through flowing shapes and varying volumes.

Deep reds, earthy tones, and light, ethereal whites captured the elements, while fabrics like organza silk and cold-dyed cotton added texture. A standout piece—a blood-red dress with hand-woven silk chiffon fringes—symbolized wind and sunsets, adding movement to the collection.

Lightness was key, with trousers abandoning traditional tailoring in favor of natural, fluid drapes that moved with the body. The entire collection reflected Calcaterra’s focus on organic fabrics, biological dyes, and sustainability, making it a thoughtful nod to nature and renewal.
