Under the arches of the Rotonda della Besana during mIlan fashion week, Onitsuka Tiger presented its Spring/Summer 2025 collection, aimed squarely at the Gen Z audience, with young celebrities in attendance. The collection, designed by creative director Andrea Pompilio, focused on youth’s journey, reflecting themes of growth through a balance of vulnerability, strength, intimacy, and self-expression.

Featuring both men’s and women’s collections, the runway offered a range of casual daywear with a wink to select evening looks. A neutral color palette dominated the runway, with subtle accents of blue and yellow adding dimension to the designs. Lace details brought a delicate contrast to the otherwise clean, urban aesthetic.

The collection reworked classic wardrobe staples such as tuxedo vests, safari jackets, cargo shorts, and textured knitwear, presenting a modern take on traditional silhouettes. These pieces embodied the tensions and transitions of growing up, as Onitsuka Tiger continues to connect with younger audiences seeking authenticity.

Footwear was a key element, with bold, grounded designs like faux fur clogs, square-toed pumps, and rubber summer sandals adding structure to the outfits.

In celebration of its 75th anniversary, Onitsuka Tiger collaborated with skinwear brand Wolford for a capsule collection, which included form-fitting dresses, draped tops, and tights in a wide range of nude tones. This collaboration, shown on the Milan runway, added a refined touch to the overall offering, reinforcing the brand’s relevance to a new generation of fashion-conscious consumers.

Onitsuka Tiger continues to blend Japanese heritage with modern design, appealing to those who value understated luxury and innovative style.
