On May 15, 2025, Caroline Scheufele, Co-President and Artistic Director of Chopard, unveiled her latest Caroline’s Couture collection on the rooftop of the Hôtel Martinez — just above the Boulevard de la Croisette and directly under the Cannes night sky.

The setting couldn’t have been more fitting. The collection, inspired by the cosmos, planets, and celestial landscapes, was presented during the 78th Cannes Film Festival — the very place where the biggest stars of cinema shine brightly wearing Chopard’s high jewelry. This time, Scheufele dressed them not just in diamonds, but in full couture looks that echo the same elegance, precision, and fantasy that define her jewelry.
The collection’s colors reflected the brilliance of a supernova — deep black opals, honey-yellow chrysoberyl, silvery aqua blues, and iridescent whites — all chosen to mirror the richness of the stones Scheufele has long been known for. Custom-developed fabrics added depth to each piece: silk jacquards from Lake Como, warp-printed taffetas using an ancestral ikat technique, and airy mousselines that floated like stardust. Swiss-made guipure laces and layered embroideries shimmered under the lights, adding texture and dimension.
Embroidery — a signature of Caroline’s Couture — was once again executed by the artisans of the Kalhath Institute in India. Their handwork included guipure stars, sequins, silver beads, and tiny crystals that recreated night skies in motion. Throughout the collection, discreet references to Chopard’s iconic Happy Hearts and Ice Cube designs appeared — connecting the worlds of couture and high jewelry in a way that felt fluid and organic.
For the first time, couture accessories joined the lineup. A soft lambskin clutch, embroidered in night-sky tones, and a gold-plated evening bag made of hundreds of miniature ice cubes showed how far Chopard's world could expand. The highlight: a one-of-a-kind handbag co-created with the Maison’s jewelry artisans, its clasp fully set in diamonds and sapphires — a literal bridge between the jeweler’s bench and the seamstress’s table.
Collaborations added even more character. Caroline once again worked with legendary hat designer Philip Treacy, who created a golden moon, floating stars, and a sweeping Saturn silhouette in hat form. Casadei, the Italian shoe house, designed custom sandals that brought together couture fabrics and embroidery — completing the looks with elegance.
Scheufele’s venture into couture, first launched in 2023, continues to grow in ambition and artistry. But at its heart, it remains grounded in the same philosophy as Chopard’s jewelry: craftsmanship, imagination, and beauty worn to be remembered.
In Cannes, where film’s brightest stars take center stage, Caroline’s Couture makes one thing clear — the stars aren’t just on the screen. They’re also walking the red carpet, wrapped in constellations crafted by Chopard.
