Snake skin always finds its way back into fashion, the same way an old flame reappears just when you stopped thinking about them. One day the sidewalks are full of camel coats and sensible boots, the next you spot a flash of reptile on a bag or heels and remember how addictive it can be. It has that mix of glamour and trouble that is impossible to ignore.

This season, snake skin doesn’t try to shock. It slips into an outfit and changes the temperature by a few degrees. A black dress feels sharper with a snake print belt. Straight leg jeans look deliberate with reptile boots. Even the simplest wardrobe can handle one textured piece and feel renewed.

Personally I can get enough of this slick and chic trend and how well it goes with my current wardrobe staples. Snake skin works best when it leads without taking over. Pair it with crisp shirts, soft knits, or trusted jeans. A snake skin bag handles mornings, dinners, and late taxis without losing its cool.
